Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 6, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to TANAT. TANAT ("we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and is dedicated to protecting your personal and financial data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, visit our website (tanat.app), use our smart-contract wallets, on/off-ramp rails, and access any other services provided by TANAT (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this policy, please immediately discontinue the use of our Services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide you with secure, compliant, and frictionless global finance services. The types of information we collect depend on how you interact with our platform:
A. Personal Identification Information
When you sign up, join the waitlist, or verify your identity, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, birth date, residential address, government-issued identification numbers, or copies of identification documents (e.g., passport or driver's license).
B. Financial and Transaction Data
To enable transactions, on-ramp, and off-ramp functionalities, we collect bank account details, credit/debit card information, payment destination details, blockchain wallet addresses, transaction history, ledger entries, and transaction signatures.
C. Technical and Usage Data
We collect device-specific information (IP address, operating system version, browser type, unique device identifiers, and mobile network settings) and log details of your interactions with our app and website, including error logs, performance data, and navigation behavior.
D. Blockchain Information
TANAT utilizes smart-contract wallets. Your wallet public key, transaction hash, gas payments, and token balances are stored on public blockchains (such as Ethereum, Solana, and TRON) and are by nature publicly available.
3. How We Use Information
We process your personal and financial information for the following purposes:
- Providing the Services: To create and manage your smart-account, process stablecoin transfers, on/off-ramp operations, and execute payments.
- Customer Support: To resolve technical issues, respond to requests, and gather feedback.
- Regulatory & Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, and fraud prevention protocols.
- Security & Integrity: To monitor for suspicious, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities, and secure our system infrastructure.
- Optimization: To analyze usage behaviors and enhance performance, feature design, and user experience.
5. Blockchain & Custody
Blockchain Transparency: Transactions processed via smart contracts and blockchains are permanent and public. Once a transaction is submitted, it is added to a public ledger and cannot be erased or modified. If you utilize our non-custodial or smart-wallet interfaces, you acknowledge that we do not control the public ledger and cannot redact transaction history.
Custody & MPC: TANAT utilizes Multi-Party Computation (MPC) custody and smart accounts to distribute cryptographic keys. The platform secures your transactions without holding full direct control over your funds, maintaining user-directed execution.
6. Data Security
We employ rigorous administrative, physical, and technical security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include:
- Full end-to-end encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest.
- Regular network vulnerability testing and smart contract security audits.
- Strict internal policies restricting personal data access to authorized personnel only.
However, please remember that no system can guarantee 100% security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, recovery phrases, and security details.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the EEA/GDPR or California/CCPA), you may possess specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request copies of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request updates to inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure: Request the deletion of your personal data, subject to regulatory retention mandates.
- Portability: Request that your data be provided in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request to our support email at support@tanat.app.
8. Data Retention
We store your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill the services outlined in this Privacy Policy. As a financial services application, we are legally required to retain transaction details and KYC documents for up to 5 to 7 years (depending on the jurisdiction) to comply with AML laws and regulatory oversight, even after account closure.
